1. Changes to the Website or Terms
Sweets4u Carluke may update or remove parts of this website at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Terms without prior notice. Continued use of the website or placing orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Contract Formation
A contract between you and Sweets4u Carluke is created only once your order has been processed and dispatched.
3. Customer Warranties
By placing an order, you confirm that:
You are legally able to enter into a contract.
Your personal details are accurate and complete.
You are not using a false name or the details of someone else without authorisation.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you accept these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
5. Cancelling an Order
You may cancel your order immediately after placing it and receive a full refund to your original payment method.
For personalised items, cancellation is only possible before preparation begins. Once production has started, we may not be able to cancel.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
6. Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation email with details of your order, including items and prices.
7. Delivery & Collection
You may choose from the available delivery options at checkout.
Delivery options:
Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £4.50 (aim 2–3 working days after dispatch)
Royal Mail Tracked 24 – £5.50 (aim 1 working day after dispatch)
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been sent.
We cannot be held responsible for delays or damages during transport beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Adverse weather
Courier delays or errors
High temperatures which may affect the appearance of sweets
We make every effort to package items securely, but please note that sweets are perishable products and may be affected by external conditions.
Local collection is available in Carluke. All collection times must be arranged with Sweets4u Carluke prior to placing your order. Please contact us via Contact Us link or WhatsApp to confirm a suitable time.
8. Returns & Refunds
Personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged, except if faulty or damaged.
Non-personalised items may be returned only with our prior written consent, in original packaging, and may be subject to a return charge.
If your order arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Liability
We aim for accuracy on our website but make no warranties regarding completeness or accuracy.
You are responsible for protecting your own devices from viruses or other risks.
Your rights as a consumer under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and the Consumer Protection Act 2007 are protected and not affected by these Terms.
10. Severance
If any provision of these Terms is invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
